Johnny Glass’s emergency fund

If you know my Dad, you know he’s about as stubborn as they come. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it & would never expect anything in return. 

a few weeks ago his doctor found a mass on his colon. This past week he underwent surgery to have it removed. The surgeon said it was the size of a softball once itwas removed. He is recovering & expectsto be there a few more days. He needs allof the good vibes he can get. I don’t know if there is an official word yet to if it is cancer or what kind of tumor it may have been. But it was successfully removed & no one has said anything about chemo. We all know life doesn’t stop, FORTUNATELY, he is a veteran, which means his medical expenses are taken care of. Which is such a blessing. But the reality of the matter is, bills don’t stop. He still has repairs that need to be made to his roof from the last hurricane that blew through Perdido Key. He is out of commission for awhile so if you could find it in your heart to help, any amount would mean the world to us. Johnny is stubborn, hard headed & most times an asshole but he’s a good man with a good heart.

*UPDATE*

Dad successfully completed all of his chemo treatments & the last pet scan showed no signs of cancerous cells!! He has recently underwent surgery to reverse his colostomy & was met with some issues. He will be down & out for a few days. I’ll try my best to keep everyone updated.
