Johnnie B needs our HELP

HEY!! Do you know Johnnie Byrd of Kinston, longtime bass player for The Mighty Saints of Soul? How about Linda, his wife? They REALLY need our help right now, so please read on and help if you can.
Johnnie has Stage 4 cancer and his sweet wife, Linda, has advanced Alzheimers. Johnnie takes care of Linda at home and plays shows with the band when possible to help make ends meet. You may know this already.
What you may NOT know is that Johnnie and Linda have lost their HOME near Trenton, NC and EVERYTHING THEY OWN as a result of the recent flood waters. Their daughter, Jenny, has them now staying with her family in Kinston. On top of everything else, they just found out the home they had planned to move into has been stripped of all the copper, pipes and HVAC system so they cannot live there.
My heart breaks for my friends, Johnnie & Linda! A dear mutual friend of ours, Bill, called me today with the idea of starting this GoFundMe page to help Johnnie, Linda, and Jenny to financially recoup their losses. Here is where YOU & I can help... from anywhere!
All monies raised here are going directly to, Jenny Thomas, to help her take care of her Mom & Dad and to help her rebuild and provide a home for Johnnie and Linda. Anything you donate is GREATLY appreciated and will help them tremendously!!
