John Tigner Memorial Fund

John was an exceptional athlete who excelled at football and baseball/softball. He was a legendary mainstay of his home town of Long Beach.  In his later years he was afflicted with nerve damage that ended his playing days. He never lost his love of sports and for those that knew him know that he had an infectious laugh and a quick smile. His most outstanding attribute was his loyalty to his family and friends. Once he befriended you .... you could always count on him. He will be missed but never forgotten. 

John’s Long Beach friends are being solicited to assist his wife, Char, during these difficult days following his passing on July 27th. A celebration of his life is occurring on Saturday, August 25th at Joe Jost’s located at 2803 E. Anaheim, Long Beach,beginning at 1:00 pm.
