This Gofundme is being established for family, friends, Soldiers and Veterans in support of our dear friend and bother in arms, Mr. John Strange.

John Strange was an amazing and selfless husband, father, son, brother and friend who cared for all he came in contact with. He was respectful, compassionate and had an unmatched sense of humor.  John was also a Veteran who served in the United States Army from 2007 to 2011 and assigned to E Troop 2-6 CAV, Wheeler Army Airfield, Hawaii and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 9-11.

John Strange passed away on August 3, 2020 in the VA Palo Alto Health Care System in Livermore, California. He was 41 years old. His sudden death came as a shock to family and friends especially because John did not have any underlying health conditions. On July 5, 2020, John went to the hospital due to complications with Pneumonia. While in the hospital, it was discovered that he had Stage IV lung cancer. His condition deteriated quickly and he succumbed to his illness within three weeks of his diagnosis. His sudden decline in health gave little time for his family to emotionally adjust and brought unexpected expenses. John and Pepper where not able to prepare for this. We the friends and family of John and Pepper strange would like to humbly submit this GoFundMe account in order to help the Strange family take care of funeral arrangements and expenses as they prepare to start a new life without their beloved husband and father. I pray that you find it in your hearts to assist the Strange family in any way you can.
