John Stinson's Memorial

On the morning of December 12th, 2017, my father was stricken with a severe asthma attack while in his car at work, and stopped breathing. Due to a lack of oxygen for an undetermined amount of time, he suffered from an anoxic brain injury and passed away on the evening of Saturday, December 16th. To anyone he could meet, John Marvin Stinson was the kindest person in the world. He was full of love, care, and compassion for all. He was a very positive person, a great friend, a hard worker, and simply an outstanding human being. To the people who knew him the best, John was a dedicated father, a singer in the choir for Second Missionary Baptist Church, a singer and manager for the Gospel Wonders music group, and a fisherman who wasn’t afraid of getting his feet (or his entire body) wet. Each and every Sunday, you could count on finding John at his church where he loved leading songs and ministering to the people. Every song he would sing, he would first study for days on end, so when he came before the Lord it would be perfect in front of his people. While we can rest assured that he is with the Lord now, myself and the remainder of John’s family is now faced with the incredible grief from having lost a loved one so unexpectedly, as well as a multitude of expenses. I've set up this fund to assist John’s family with the funeral costs. Every single contribution, of any amount, will be greatly appreciated.
