John Roth Medical Bills and more

John Roth discovered he had Melanoma 2 years ago on his right index finger. The Doctor's removed the finger from the knuckle and took several lymph nodes to do additional test.

Most of the lymph nodes were clean, but they did find a few that tested postitive for cancer. John began radiation and chemotherapy to battle the aggressive Melanoma.

Over the course of the past two years John would endure double doses of chemotherapy treatments along with radiation making him unable to work and provide for his family.

As time progresssed John would have more lymph nodes removed for testing as well as having several MRI's to see if the doctors had contained the cancer.
Although John was very sick and had developed a large open wound under his right arm pit he kept hope, prayer and a positive attitude.

Never truly sharing how sick he was with family and friends John endured great pain. The cancer progress up his right arm and he developed Lemphdedema. He began to wear a compression sleave on his right arm although it caused great pain. The cancer is very visible on his arm, looking like large blisters some as big as 2 inches in diameter.

They continued to remove more and more lymph nodes which in turn would continue to weaken his immune system. The Cancer progressed to his right side of his chest in June, but it did not weaken John's hope.  John would spend many hours at Barnes Hospital for his radiation, chemotherapy and lymph node removal during his sickness.

In October it was discovered after a couple of seizures that the cancer had metastacized to his brain which resulted in an aggressive 10 day radiation treament.
John continued to keep his positive attitude and tried his best to keep his suffering from his family and friends.

John is terminally ill and has entered into Hospice. He has continually apologized to his family and friends for being sick. I have known him for 52 years and he is a very caring person never wanting to burden anyone with anything.

His family is now facing large medical and personal bills that  have resulted from his lengthy illness. Now they must also face the great expense of a upcoming funeral.

Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will be used to pay off these bills that have resulted from the cancer treatment and possbily have in the expense of his funeral.

Time is very important, I wish I had taken the time to get this message out to everyone sooner. None the less his family would appreciate any and all financial help they can receive.

We will also be hosting a fund raiser at West County Lanes 15727 Manchester Road, Ellisville, MO 63011 on January 13, 2018 from 7 PM- 11PM. 50/50's-Mouse Races-Silent Auction and more. Please attend if you would like to help with this great cause.

Thank you for taking the time to read John's story and thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
