<div>We are gearing up for a fight. John has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer. The good news is that all his vitals are very strong. Near perfect. So if anybody has the love, support, and will to fight it is John.

<div>In a nutshell, he has been feeling unwell for several months. Nobody could figure out what was wrong since bloodwork and everything else looked fine. It was only when he had trouble swallowing, a late-stage sign, that we were able to get the testing required to find the problem. The type of cancer he has was caused by his chronic heartburn and stomach acids eroding his lower esophagus and becoming cancerous.

<div>John has a strong support system in all of us. I believe he will win this round. He still has a lot to give to this world and a lot of experiences to enjoy. We had just received his Stage 4 diagnosis, and as we were touring the facility, John was concerned for all the people who had no one supporting them. He has already committed himself to winning this fight and start helping others not go through this alone. This is why so many people call him Saint John. Only John would be thinking about others when he is currently soaked in his own pain.
