John Rathai Memorial Fund

Hello all, my name is Evan McColley. I am a co worker and a good friend of John. He was one of the first friends that I made when I started at the prison 12 years ago. Through that time we shared countless memories together, got to know each others families, supported each other through life's achievements as well as life's struggles, and like with many of his friends, witnessed our friendship evolve into a brotherhood. John would do anything he could to help someone in need and knew how to push someone to make them a better person. He was as good of a person as they come and can never be replaced. Tragically John died in a snowmobile accident this past weekend. I thought it would be nice to set up a donation page for his 10 year old daughter Bailey. John loved her more than anything in the world and I cannot imagine the heart breaking sadness that she must be feeling. The money raised will be given to Bailey and hopefully ease some of sadness the poor little girl must be feeling. Anything you could donate for her would be greatly appreciated. John was a very giving and loving person who is going to missed greatly. He was a great friend, brother, son, and dad. He loved his friends and his family with his whole heart. I feel this is the least I could do to help spread the love and support that he has shown us in the time that we were blessed to have him in our lives. Thank you and God bless you all.
