Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Jonathan or as many knew him Newt Green has been a Georgetown local since the early 70s. On the evening of June 10th he was the victim of a tragic accident at his home which led to his sudden passing.
Newt was well know for his love of The Beatles and most any music. He was always willing to lend a hand in anyway that he could to those in need. He was a firm believer in treating people fairly and without judgement. The kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back and think nothing of it.
Newt is survived by his beautiful wife of 34 years Colleen, his 2 children; Jonathan and April and his 3 granddaughters; Autumn, Lydia and Charlotte.
He will missed tremendously and his love will never be forgotten.
The date for a celebration of life with be announced when the family is ready.
