John Muir High School Scoreboard
Tax deductible
Show your Muir pride and spirit! We are in need of $9,000 more towards our goal of $25,000 for a new scoreboard for football, soccer, and track at Muir. The price of a new scoreboard has increased due to updated scoring for track and installation costs. Recent additional funding has been given by Kathryn Barger's office from the County of Los Angeles's Board of Supervisors, alumni, and friends. We've raised $16,000 so far! Additional funding that was initially expected fell through, so we are again seeking your support. Donations are tax deductible.
If you've been to a football game or track meet in recent years, you'll understand the need for a new scoreboard at John Muir High School! The current scoreboard suffers from electrical failures and is in other levels of disrepair. With your help, we will replace the scoreboard with one that is modern and environmentally efficient that will last for many years to come.
Our athletic programs provide Muir's students with great training, ways to stay healthy, and after school tutoring. Many of you remember playing sports on Muir's winning teams! You built friendships that have lasted a lifetime! Muir's coaches teach life skills such as setting and achieving high goals, working smart, working hard, and dedication!
