John Muir Elementary Family Support

John Muir Elementary School in Santa Monica is one of the smallest in the SMMUSD district and is a Title 1. We have a wonderful mix of students and families from around the world bringing our small community school a diverse cultural mix.
The current global Covid-19 crisis, has greatly affected many of the families within our school and there is an urgent need to assist with basic needs, such as vouchers for grocery stores, diapers, rent and every day expenses and bills.
In coordination with John Muir's Bilingual Community Liaison, a group of Muir parents wanted to set up a GoFundMe to try and assist the families within our school that are most in need.
We understand times are difficult and uncertain and we hope that we can help ease some of those pressures.
