John Martorelli, Jr.

John Martorelli, Jr., 43 of Port Monmouth, New Jersey was tragically killed on July 20, 2017 in a horrific crash leaving behind his beloved wife Coleen and three children. He was thrown from his jeep in Aberdeen.
No wife/mother wants to receive this call. Unfortunately his wife Coleen received the devastating news along with his little boys (eight, four, six months) who are now without a dad.  


Retired Coast Guard BM2 John A. Martorelli, Jr. was a devoted husband and incredible father to three young boys: Zane (8), Gage (4), and Wade (6 months).  The boys will miss dad coming through the door every night, laughs at dinner, fun times at the fair and Cub Scout events. Zane loved to go to Field Station with his dad. Gage loved their talks. Sadly, Wade will not have these opportunities. Coleen will now not only have to face Sandy recovery efforts alone, but also abruptly learn how to care for 3 children without the support of her beloved spouse.  In addition, she sadly only  has access to John's local family as her entire family resides in England.


His tragic loss is felt throughout the community. John was a truly amazing person who always put other people's needs first. He was a true mentor and Cub Scout Master for Pack 242 in Middletown, NJ. His inspiring leadership encouraged and motivated many children and their families that were involved.

The funds will be used for:
-funeral expenses
-daily support of children
-baby supplies/necessities
-mortgage (prevention of losing the home)
-college funds
-family vehicle
