John Gaddess and Family need your support
John Gaddess was in an accident at work on September 15th.
There was an equipment malfunction and John fell out of a tree a very long way to the ground. He was rushed to Kootenai Medical Center.
His lungs and brain were bleeding and his collarbone, neck, back, and ribs are broken in many places.
He has been stabilized, but the full extent of his injuries and needed treatment are still unknown. We will update when there is more information.
Update:
John is alert and well in his brain and lungs check out, but he’s in a lot of pain. He underwent surgery yesterday Thursday September 17th, to address a severely broken T-6- he has new hardware spanning from T-4 to T-8, roughly a 9” incision. Surgery on his clavicle is scheduled for Monday.
All things considered, there are many positive aspects to this accident. Most of the nurses have said he is lucky be alive.
The family's insurance has a very high deductible and Maia's role will turn to caretaker, which puts the family at an indefinite pause for an income stream. As time and resources increase at the hospital, the amount of medical bills are increasing too.
Please donate to support the Gaddess family in this scary time.
