John Fassett, husband of Barbara Fassett, passed peacefully away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at his home after a very short battle with pancreatic cancer and following a 2009 Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis. He was a kind and generous man, quick to laugh and slow to anger, who suffered through more than his share of hardships during his lifetime.
John retired as a Lieutenant from the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department in 2006 after 30+ years of service. Four years after his retirement, John and Barbara opened Bark Busters Dutchess County.
We'd like Barbara to have the ability to mourn John's passing versus having to rush back to work.
