John Camastro Medical Fund

John has been ill for the past 4 months. In December a CT scan and MRI revealed a 4cm tumor in his ear pressing on his brain. His diagnosis is Acoustic Neuroma and he will undergo a 9 hour craniotomy on February 16 followed by a 4 day stay in the hospital and 8 week recovery period.
John will be out of work for a total of 4 months, returning the end of April/beginning of May. Since October, he has experienced vertigo, nausea and headaches, barely able to cope during the day and recently unable to get out of bed and function on his own. Elizabeth has been caring for him full time and will continue through his recovery.
They have health insurance which covers surgery but have been living on savings for the past two months. Funds are out and they are reaching to family and friends for support and assistance to keep them afloat. Monetary assistance will help cover rent and other daily living needs associated with loss of wages as well as travel and post surgical recovery time. We are all hoping Johns recovery will go smoothly and he will regain his health in a timely manner.
Please help John, Elizabeth and daughter Ula who are such a large caring and giving part of our communities. Let’s return the generosity and love this family has freely given to community.
