On 14th August 2025, we sadly lost our dad, Bryan West – a much-loved father, grandad, darts champion, bowler, and well-known Darwen character with a wicked sense of humour. Bryan spent many happy years at Everton Street Bowling Club, where he shared countless laughs and friendships, both on and off the green.

We, his children Andrew, Martin and Michelle, along with his grandchildren, would like to honour his memory by raising funds for a memorial bench at Everton Street Bowling Club. This bench will also be a lasting tribute to his late partner, Norma Helmn, so that together they will always have a place in the heart of the club.

This bench will provide a space for friends, family, and fellow bowlers to sit, reflect, and share their own stories of Bryan and Norma.

We would be deeply grateful for any contributions, no matter the size, to help us make this memorial a reality. Thank you for helping us celebrate two lives that brought so much laughter, love, and friendship to so many.
