John "Biscuit" Allen's Legacy Fund

John "Biscuit" Allen was and is a beloved father, son, grandfather and friend. He knew no stranger, and could talk to anyone about anything. He loves fiercely, fully, and with no remorse.  He was charismatic and funny, with a laugh more infectious than any I know. He knew his shortcomings, but instead of letting them define him, he used them as talking points to try and teach others to be the best version of themselves they could be. 

He loved to use his hands, and used them as often as he could. With his passion of landscaping and making something from nothing, he turned every space he could get his hands on into something beautiful and vibrant. There was never a space he couldn't make wonderful. He was also passionate about cooking, and convinced me to deep fry a turkey one year, and it was the best Thanksgiving meal I have ever had.

John leaves behind five children, and at 47 years old,  his death was not something we ever thought would we would have to face this soon. My dad was rich in spirit and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone, and in these times we are asking that anyone who was touched by  his generosity and tender heart give as they are able. I think it would bring a smile to my dad to know that all of the love he poured out on others came back to him in our greatest time of need.
