John and Susan Clark

Tragedy struck our dear friend and long time student John Clark (aka JC) who recently had a stroke 18 months ago. JC has been slowly recovering from his stroke and has had to relearn how to walk as well as speak. Susan, his wife, has been by his side day and night as his caregiver during his long recovery process. While JC was going through his rehab, they incurred a lot medical cost and JC lost his income and livelihood.  As JC has struggled to recover, Susan has worked very hard to support and take of JC, being the main breadwinner and taking great care of JC at the same time. 

On Christmas Eve, tragedy struck again. Susan had a massive heart attack and had to be air lifted to a special Cardiac care hospital, where she underwent a triple by pass. At this point Susan is in ICU and in critical condition, as she still has not regained consciousness. JC is stranded in Asheville, 4 hours from home and is incurring a lot costs with hotels, meals etc. 

J.C.’s recovery has been at the hands of Susan, whom he has depended on for his medication as well as therapy. Without this care, JC’s condition will deteriorate quickly. Taylor and I are asking you to put yourself in their shoes and respond as generously as you can, to help our friend and brother, in time of need. We have all had great difficulties as well as successes in our careers. Please do what you can!
