John and Leatha Beasley House Fire

Donation protected
I've set this account up to help my mom, dad, and brother try to find a new normal. On Tuesday, December 3, 2019 they lost their barn, home, and all of it's contents to a house fire. The fire started in the barn and is most likely electrical. Within around 30 minutes of noticing the flames, everything was completely engulfed, even though firefighters were on the scene doing everything they could to contain it.

Everything they owned was consumed by the fire and has been lost. Those of you who know my family know my mom is Paraplegic. She has lost all of her medical supplies and equipment that helps her in her day to day life and activities.  Luckily her van wasn't damaged and they were able to use it to drive her to safety. It's hard to tell you what they need because they need everything. The fire was very fast and very hot. There is nothing  to go though to try to save, only ashes. They are currently looking at housing options that can accommodate while they start the rebuilding process. They were able to get clothing donations the next day, and have started the very expensive process of replacing what they once had.

This photo was taken roughly 4 hours after the fire started.

My mother and father are two of the most generous and giving people you will ever meet. They've always got a positive outlook and are always willing to help others. That is what motivates me to try to get them some help. They've got a long road ahead of them and anything you can do will help them.  Even if that is sharing this link and their story.

Below are links to my own, and my sisters posts with more information and details of what was actually lost that night.
