<div><span>She is stable and in the Neuro-Trauma ICU now, but sustained some serious injuries: a head laceration that resulted in swelling and blood on the brain, multiple broken ribs (a punctured lung that they tell me appears to have sealed itself), and damage to her spinal arteries (resulting in consultation from the stroke team to ensure she doesn’t go into seizures or have a stroke).</span><br />

<div>At this time, we are uncertain how long she will be in the hospital. Minimum 3-4 days for the brain swelling to go down is all I’ve been told so far.
