I slutten av september reiser Lisa og Johanna til Libanon for å jobbe som frivillig hos organisasjonen Salam LADC som jobber i Bekaa dalen utenfor Beirut.  Salam jobber i og rundt flyktningleirer for syriske flyktninger, og distribuerer vann, mat, brensel og organiserer aktiviteter og utdanning for barn i leirene. Libanon huser ca 1.2 millioner syriske flyktninger, og har med det den høyeste andelen flyktninger per capita i verden. 

Reisen og oppholdet er dekket av oss selv, og alle penger som blir donert går direkte til:

- Utdanning - akutt behov for lønn til lokale lærere ($500-700 per måned)

- Distrubuering av mat, vann og brensel, madrasser, tepper ($160 per familie)

Ingen beløp er for små, og vi håper du ønsker å bidra til at organisasjonen Salam kan nå ut med den nødvendige hjelpen. På forhånd, tusen takk!

In the end of September, Lisa and Johanna will be travelling to Lebanon to work as volunteers with the organisation Salam LADC who operates in the Bekaa valley one hour outside Beirut. Salam works in and around the settlements for Syrian refugees, distributing water, food, fuel and other necessities, organising activities and provides education for children in the settlements. Lebanon has around 1.2 million Syrian refugees and has the highest concentration of refugees per capita in the world.

The trip is funded by us and all donations will go directly to:

- Education - an urgent need for a local teacher (salary is $500-700 a month)

- Distribution of food, water, fuel, mattresses, blankets ($160 per family)
