On the night of July 9th, Johanna’s apartment was struck by lightning and burned down, collapsing the roof. She was able to get herself and her children out of the apartment safely. Thank God.
However, she lost everything. They got out with just the clothes on their back. She is staying with her sister until they can determine if the apartment complex has any available units to put them in ( about 20 units were destroyed by the fire). Red Cross and FEMA have been called, however, their need is immediate.
