<div>Bike Ride from John O’Groats to Lands End (JOGLE), Saturday 6th May – Monday 15th May 2023

<div>In May 2023 Sport Parkinson's has a team of four cyclists, all who have Parkinson's Disease and have accepted the gruelling challenge of cycling 1000 miles from John O’Groats to Lands End in just 10 days.
</div>

<div>The team of four - Hamish, Garen, Martin &amp; Alex - will take it in turns to pedal a section of the route covering 25 miles each, per day, (250 miles per rider over 10 days).
</div>

<div>The training for this cycling challenge has already begun and the team are knee deep in the organising &amp; planning. The support team is slowly coming together, we have a medic, physio, bike engineer and several trusty volunteers looking after our food &amp; water and meds! We will need scheduled stops to take on a large number of calories throughout the day as well further stops to take the meds that we need to help with our individual Parkinson’s needs.

<div>The team will be in good company with Steve’s ‘ORRFC Support Crew’, who are looking to attack the entire 1000 mile challenge!

<div>In addition, ‘Daily Guest Riders’ plan to join in, either for a daily supportive ride or a 2 to 3 day ride. These will be perfect moral boosters as the days, miles and dare we mention the ‘Hills’ get longer . . !

<div>If you would like to support the Sport Parkinson's PD cycling team in this challenge feel free to donate what you can. All donations will go towards the Sport Parkinson’s healthy &amp; strong fund, helping those with PD get active &amp; stay active to alleviate the symptoms of PD.
