<div>Hello, my name is Regina Gonzales. I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my husband Joey "Boogie" Gonzales
</div>

</div>
<div>Joey's cancer journey began in December of 2022. We received an official cancer diagnosis (2) days before our one year wedding anniversary. You can only imagine how devastating that was.

</div>
<div>Joey was a true warrior! He fought with all that he had in him to try and beat his cancer. He was a superhero. The strength he had, and the will he had to survive was unlike anything I've ever seen. He leaned into the Lord and trusted his plan. We celebrated triumphs, cried through heartbreak and setbacks together, but I'm thankful I had to opportunity to care for him the last year and a half of his beautiful life. My husband never complained, and never asked for anything other than his most basic needs. He was so selfless. It saddens me to even have the need to ask for help, but I am unable to do this all on my own.

</div>
<div>At this time I am asking for your help in contributing to give my husband the proper Celebration of Life he deserves. My husband was a loving and generous man... he absolutely had the biggest heart, and would help anyone in need. Unfortunately we do not have insurance, and we were unable to obtain any being that he was already ill.
</div>

</div>
<div>I am doing my absolute best to carry out his wishes as he and I would discuss. My husband's request was to have a traditional burial, but this is truly a large expense. Please if you find you are able to help in any way, it all really does help get us that much closer to our goal.
</div>

</div>
<div>I love you all, and on behalf of Joey I express our deepest most heartfelt thanks. May God continue to bless you, and carry you.
