Joey L. Clayton

This request for help is for Joeylynn Clayton who has been a friend to many people. She has always given of herself and her time to others selflessly. She has persevered through this illness as well as she can, but now it seems to be rearing it's ugly head in a new and more powerful way.  Joeylynn needs our help and those of you who have had the good fortune to have met her have come away better because of it. 
                                        
Here is Joey's story in her own words:

In 2007 I was diagnosed with 2 autoimmune diseases that cause chronic pain, cognitive impairment and affect muscles, joints and every organ in your body. My Rheumatologist told me" Joey you will be disabled, just understand that." My reply was "Absolutely not." I had 2 children to raise on my own, ailing parents and a great career. But most of all FAITH and a positive attitude.  10 years later I'm in such a flare I am out of work indefinitely right now. My Rheumatologist has increased my chemo and started new medicines including IV therapy. In 2007, I accepted no longer walking an amusement park, dancing, sitting on the sand or the floor playing board games with my kids. You learn to accept what you can do.  My motto has always been "keep on keeping on " and I'll continue to do that.  This pic is Mothers day with Chase; my son.
