Family of Joey Southerland

As many of you know, our beloved family member, Joey Southerland, age 48, was diagnosed with serious advanced cancer less than two months ago. Joey was making good progress toward being ready for chemo. Sadly, Joey unexpectedly passed away on August 11, 2022 from a stroke. His wife, (my niece, Missy), their three children, Charleigh, age 7, and Jorden, age 21, and their adoptive son, Chris, age 23, and all of us who love him are devastated. We are shifting this GoFundMe account to focus on helping Missy and their children, Charleigh, Jorden and their adoptive son, Chris. If you have already donated through GoFundMe or to the family directly, we thank you if. If you did not have the chance before, or would like to make an additional donation, we are humbly and gratefully requesting additional donations. These will now go to assisting with the remaining medical bills, funeral/memorial service expenses, Charleigh's education, and other basic living expenses as the family has now lost a significant portion of their income.
