Hey everyone.
About 10 years ago I had a gastric band put in. It now appears that the band is now damaged and needs to be removed. My insurance company has deemed these types of surgeries as elective. My doctor has been trying to explain to them that this is not elective, it is life or death. The best I can hope for is for them to call it out of network. This is still going to cost me an arm and a leg which I don't have. I don't know what the surgery is going to cost. I have already been overdrawn just with the bloodwork. If you can help, thank you.
