Joey French Grubb is an amazing friend to everyone whether he has just met you or known you all of his life. He has always put others first & would do anything to help others. Anyone who knows him knows that he would give them the shirt off of his back if they needed it. He would never in a million years ask for help because he is stubborn so I wanted to do this fundraiser to help ease some of the financial burdon that is headed his way.
For those who do not know, Joey was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma on August 17,2017 thru a colonoscopy. This has been overwhelming as you can imagine as he has been working with his team of doctors to come up with aggressive treatment plan.He had his port put in today. The beginning of his treatment is approaching quickly. He will be doing chemotherapy & radiation 5 days a week which will prevent him from being able to work during this time. His doctors have estimated the duration of this treatment could be 5 weeks or more.
For all who know this wonderful friend & amazing hair stylist of mine then I am sure that you have been on the recieving end of his selfless acts of kindness. Now it is our turn to be there for him in his time of need & hopefully give him one less thing to worry about . I encourage each & everyone that has been blessed by him to shower him with your love. Every dollar gets us one step closer to the goal. I believe that he will be able to focus on this aggressive treatment & focus on getting back to doing what he loves as quickly as possible if he does not have to worry about how he will pay his personal bills & any medical bills that may not be covered by insurance. He is remaining positive & hisdoctors have been giving him positive feedback as well. Anyone who knows him knows that he is not going to let a little cancer break his spirit so he is still smiling because he has faith that God will bless him.
