Hafa Adai Family and Friends, 

This account is to help support my father, and our family during this time of financial need. 

Recently my father had a mild-heart attack while going for his daily run. It was sudden and out of the blue. He is one of the healthiest people I know, strong and will powered. He is our rock and our foundation. My father is the most patriotic person I know. Who to date has been in the service for the past 26 years. He is always mission focused and taking care of soldiers. Serving his country and others is who he is. Now, as a family it is our turn to give service to him. His ability to manage stress and stay strong for us has never let us down. Especially for his soldiers. He is well known for being a great leader, someone that would risk their life for another. Every time I run into someone that has served beside my father, it is an honor because they always have strong and heart felt words to say about him. Not only as a person but more so as a leader, someone they look up to as I do.

If he had continued his run and kept going he would of had a full blown heart attack. He would not be beside us today and that is exactly where the reality has set in for our family. We could have lost him and this gofund me would've been for a different purpose.

There is  a blockage in his heart and because of this, the doctors have ordered that he be sent and seen by Tripler Hospital in Hawaii. They can't figure out what's exactly wrong so he needs to be on a plane as soon as Tripler gets his appointment set. Which could be in less than 2 weeks. Because he is not an active duty soldier the only coverage from the military he will recieve is for his medical bills. All other finances are out of pocket (travel, lodging, and transportation). Unfortunately, this is money we do not have access to right away. We are not sure how long he will have to stay in Hawaii once they see him. We are not sure what to expect. It is unsure right now if he will need open heart surgery but he will need to do numerous amount of tests and procedures to see what the problem is. It is unfortunate that we don't have access to these resources locally and how limited we are on Guam for treatment.

However, we know that with support and help from our loved ones and anyone willing to help us during this time it will relieve so much stress off of him. He is not one to ask for help. He is always the one to give help. So, from my family and myself we are asking for your support during this time.
