I am Kristal Carrier, mother of Joseph Rose. Joe was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver last September. He was in and out of the hospital/nursing home for a couple of months. They had him on the liver transplant list, but his body didn't respond to medical care. We were told there is nothing more they can do. I have him home on Hospice since early October. He lost his job at Romco Fire and Safety due to this devastating disease. Joseph Rose was a certified technician for the Co. He was so proud to have earned that title.So I have been covering all of his bills since this time. You can see all of his diagnoses in the pic I posted. I am sharing this personal information in hopes of getting information to any and all of our alcoholics in our families.Joe is only 47, my only son that I have to make funeral arrangements for. This is the hardest thing a mother can go through. I thought bringing him into this world was the hardest thing I could do,I was wrong, letting him go is what I know that I will never get over.
