Joe’s Journey to Healing and Remission

Hello family, friends and anyone willing to open their hearts to help support Joe in his fight against Fluoroquinolone Toxicity Syndrome and subsequent Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) diagnosis.

In 2016 Joe was prescribed an antibiotic for a fairly common ailment, resulting in devasting side effects, also known as Fluoroquinolone Toxicity – term is “floxed”.  Joe’s suffering has included symptoms of extreme fatigue, tendon rupture, joint and muscle pains, nerve pains, extreme weight loss, hair loss and nervous system disturbances. In addition, he endures anxiety, depression, brain fog, tingling in his extremities, insomnia, trouble walking, and the list goes on. From the onset of the symptoms Joe has been searching relentlessly for help and answers and has undergone countless tests and visits to specialists, only to be defeated and left without any reprieve from his daily struggles to get out of bed and face another day knowing that he has a condition that is not widely recognized by the medical community.

Along his journey, and during one of his more difficult bouts of symptoms, Joe made an all too familiar visit to the Emergency Room seeking relief and answers. In an effort to find the source of the pain, Joe had routine bloodwork and received the devastating diagnosis of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) – a blood cancer.

If living floxed wasn’t difficult enough, now Joe and his family needed to face the painful journey of cancer treatments with an already compromised immune system in a body riddled with pain. Once the chemotherapy side effects set in and it was evident that they were going to further compound his symptoms and pain for an unknown amount of time, Joe left his career and has been unable to work since April.

Through extensive personal research Joe found a clinic in L.A. that is designed to help patients like him. After contacting them and explaining his difficult road, he has graciously been accepted into Dr. Ghalili’s unique treatment program where they will tailor a treatment to address all of his complex needs starting with an in-depth functional medical analysis, customized IV infusions, specific supplement protocols, correction of metabolic deficiencies for body optimization all to prepare him for cutting edge stem cell therapy.

In order to be a part of this program, Joe must travel to California for the duration of the therapy. Both Joe and Dr. Ghalili are excited and highly optimistic that this treatment will help Joe achieve a full recovery from his fluoroquinolone toxicity AND lead him into remission for his leukemia. This is Joe’s chance for recovery!

Joe is a 37-year-old family man who is accustomed to being an involved husband and father to his wife Stephanie and children Grace, Audrey and Jacob. The Rosentreters and extended family have had to sacrifice and make difficult choices to support his illness, lost wages, high medical bills and prescription costs. While they are remaining positive and optimistic that through this treatment plan Joe will soon get back to what we all call normal and often take for granted, they are hoping the generosity and compassion of their friends and family can help with the costly burden.

If you feel this is something that you would like to help fund, any donation is welcome.

The fundraiser will also be accepting airline miles to help alleviate travel costs for him and his family.

On behalf of the Rosentreter family and Joe, thank you for considering this donation.

Please share, donate and pray for Joe and his family during his journey to recovery.
