Joe's Story:
In November 2015,
Joe was diagnosed with Stage IV Kidney Cancer in his left kidney. He had the kidney removed in January 2016. Scans taken in July 2016 revealed that the cancer had spread to his lungs, colon, thyroid, lymph nodes, adrenal gland and in the scar tissue that formed when the kidney was removed. Joe is no longer able to work and has to wait until April 2018 before his first social security check will arrive. Joe's family and friends are hosting this benefit in his honor to help offset some of the medical and everyday living expenses that Joe is incurring.
