Our brother Joel has been faithfully serving overseas in South Asia for a little over a year, fully devoted to the mission he's been called to. Because of strict visa limitations, he has to leave the local area where he serves. However, Joel's missions organization has asked that he not return to the United States at this time, so he can stay focused on the work he's been entrusted with.

That means he needs somewhere else to go—and after more than a year apart, we believe Joel deserves not just a logistical solution, but also a time of rest. We are thrilled to share that our family will be meeting Joel in Mexico this December for a much-needed reunion and vacation together.

Unlike many missionaries, Joel has been fully supported his sending organization and the years, many of you have asked how you could support Joel directly. Now is that chance.

The greatest challenge for this trip is the cost of airfare between Asia and Mexico, which is extremely expensive—ranging from $2,500 to $5,500.

We are launching this fundraiser to help cover Joel's flights, so that the financial burden doesn't prevent him from joining us. Any additional funds raised will go toward food and other needs during the trip. We are deeply grateful to already have housing covered, thanks to generous family members.

This trip isn't just a vacation—it's an opportunity for Joel to be refreshed, encouraged, and surrounded by family before continuing in the work ahead.
