Joel’s motorcycle accident recovery fund

Hi, my name is Joel and on the evening of April 12, 2024 I was stuck by a drunk driver while taking a leisurely ride on my motorcycle. I was knocked unconscious and rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX where I spent a week in the trauma center. I ended up with a head contusion, a fractured T8 vertebrae, 3 breaks in my pelvis, a broken left arm, and multiple lacerations and bruises. Due to these injuries, I’m going to be out of work for a while and I have a family that I help provide for. As you can imagine, this was a very unexpected life experience which has caused us to really struggle financially. So gracefully, I ask that if you’re able to donate it would greatly be appreciated as my family really needs this support until I’m able to return to work again. Anything helps and no amount is too small. If you’re unable to donate, we completely understand and just passing this message along, it would be greatly appreciated.
