JOEL BEYER MEMORIAL FUND

Words fall short when tragedy strikes the young and the innocent. Life just dealt a devastating and debilitating blow to my sister, Laura Ramacitti Beyer, and her three beautiful young children. Her husband Joel died suddenly  on March 7 at the age of 38. We, who love this family, are also desperate to help, because we can’t stop her pain, not to mention that of the children he left behind. How can Brooklyn, a daddy’s girl, ever understand what happened at only age 8. really, how can any of us. Little man, Kai, only 4, will have to be reminded about the memories of his father. and is so proud to carry around the picture he has of "me and my Daddy , taking a walk." Just 5 months ago, Laura and Joel welcomed a new little life into their home, with sweet baby Lillian. Joy to devastation in a blink of the eye!

Your prayers are welcomed and appreciated. In addition to the loss of a husband,  father and best friend, this family lost their main provider. This will indelibly create an insurmountable financial hardship on this young family. Laura is very hard working but her efforts alone will be insufficient to address the many burdens she now faces as a widow. She needs to bury her husband, feed her children, keep a roof over their heads and make a plan for tomorrow. If you are a friend and want to help, please do. This is probably the hardest thing I have ever had to write, and I so wish I didn't have to. I thank you all for taking the time to read this and I ask that if you are in a position to help, it would mean the world to my family. My sister just can't do this alone. She hasn't even had the chance to wrap her brain around everything that has happened, but soon she will be faced with the overwhelming fact that she has three smaill children, that she alone, will have to raise and provide for.
