Help us compete internationally!

Hi Friends!

As you probably already know, Cara and I are both very active skaters & skate instructors. Our goal this past year has been to support the World Slalom Series Association and Seba North America's mission to promote and grow the sport of Freestyle Slalom in the U.S. through teaching, competion, and events judging. Over the past 10 months we've become certified WSSA Slalom instructors and judges, taught classes with both adults and teens 2-3 times a week, and competed in as many national competitions as possible. It's been an incredibly rewarding year - Cara and I are now ranked  #1 in both U.S. Men's and Women's Freestyle Slalom and Speed Slalom.

And NOW we have an opportunity to compete in our first international competition, but we need some help getting there!

Because of our WSSA ranking, Seba North America (U.S. distributor of Seba skates) has offered us a partial sponsorship to represent the U.S. overseas. We have now set our sights on the World Freestyle Skating Championships, October 26-30 in Torino, Italy. 

Help us represent U.S. slalom, and we promise to make you proud ! Check out the video below from last years competition in Italy. Looks like a blast, right?

Any funds we raise above & beyond our current goal will go towards future competition travel expenses. We were forced to turn down several national and international competitions last year (Boston, China, Paris) simply because we couldn't afford the travel expenses. In 2015 we're looking forward to representing U.S. Slalom skating all over the world, and learning as much as we can from international skaters so we can bring that knowledge back to our students and the entire U.S. skating community.
