Joe's fight against colon cancer

August 3, 2018 Joe was diagnosed with stage 3 Colorectal Cancer, that would entail 5 months of chemotherapy and radiation, followed by a surgery to remove the large tumor that has grown through his colon wall. The news caught our entire family and friends off guard, since he has always been the glue that holds us together. He has had a very rough start to his treatment, with getting Pancreatitis the first week of Chemotherapy, and now a Staph infection in his blood stream. He has had to have surgery to remove the port that was placed only weeks before, and an Ultrasound/Echocardiogram on his heart to see how the infection has spread. He will be in the hospital for at least a week, and on an IV at home for up to 6 weeks with continued antibiotics. As most of you know Joe works outside 90% of the time and this will cause him to miss more work than originally anticipated. With missing extra work, and having the mounting medical bills associated with the cancer treatment and chemotherapy, we are asking for any donation to help during this horrible time. Throughout this experience Joe has maintained the contagious smile, and crazy sense of humor that we all love. We just want Joe to be back to the healthy man we all know and love.
