Joe Whites Heart Transplant Fund

As many of you know, my boyfriend Joe is in UK waiting for a heart transplant, he has to stay until he receives one. Joe is only 33 with 3 young children. He himself is young and full of life and to be perfectly honest, I want him to be around with me, my daughter & his kids. The transplant coordinator came and met with him & his parents today and told his family to drop their pride and to have as many fundraisers as they can. The expense will be huge. The money will be spent on travel for family, lodging, travel for Joes follow up appointments, Joe's living expenses for him, because after he receives his new heart he will have to stay within an hour of the hospital after the transplant.  He will also be having to pay for some of his medicines that the insurance will not cover.  There isn't any funds to help him with the expenses in Kentucky because Joe is an out of state patient and will have to pay for his own living expenses. Not to mention he also has bills here at home to pay & has been out of work for quite some time due to his heart. Many people have asked if there is anything they can do, first & foremost, PRAY, pray that he receives a heart soon. Second, if you go to church, see if your church will take up the collection plate for Joe & his family. If you are a friend or family member & would like to help, have a hot dog sale, or a bake sale & spread the request. If you can, set out a collection jar for Joe at your work & get it to his family.
