Joe Studer’s Brain Surgery fund

My father, Joe Studer was life flighted to Iowa City in October 2020. He had 3
major surgeries. Had an emergency
surgery to to get fluid drained from his
brain, another to remove a tumor on his brain stem on the back of his neck, and
another to put a permanent shunt to
drain the residual fluid.
He is a hard working man in the
construction/remodeling business with a big, fun loving personality. Now he’s
having financial troubles and can’t work due to his recovery and his unfortunate
deteriorating condition. He was always
the funniest person in the room, and now he’s the quietest one. He is having
trouble remembering things and
answering questions. He’s a prideful man that is quick to help someone in need,
but stubborn enough to not ask for help when he needs it.
He is showing signs of dementia and is
now getting transported back to Iowa
City to treat a cerebral brain
hemorrhage and getting more medical
care he desperately needs.
