To all the good people in the world, we call upon you for a great cause.

Joe and Family’s vs Cancer AGAIN.

Please donate as much as you can to help a kind, selfless and big-hearted family man to support his young daughter Lexi (5) and wife (Jodie). Please be kind and understand this family’s struggle, its been hell and they are still fighting hard to keep it together.

WE are all trying to help Joe stay with his family, beat Cancer, and live a normal life. 2 (two) times diagnosed with cancer, this time round…Acute Myeloid Leukaemia! ☹ Joe is now going through his second fight with cancer, 20 years ago he had testicular cancer which spread to his back due to late diagnosis. Joe had to go through chemotherapy and fight cancer to live at the ripe age of 20, a 2-year cancer battle began. Fortunately, Joe come out the other end thankful and blessed, the terrible news after this fight was Joe had very little chance of having kids due to his operations to remove the cancer which included a testicle, to be sure of being cancer free.

Unbelievably, after Joe met his wife, they received an amazing gift, they had their only child, Lexi was born. Shortly after Lexi arrived Joe was made redundant.

Struggling to find work, Joe strived to rebuild his life with a young family, being evicted due to redundancy, homeless now, they secured temporary accommodation. 2 years on Joe and his family was given a house from the council to bring up Lexi. Joe got a new job and things started to bounce back, full of laughs, socialising, building up his new home, just being a joyful normal family again, until……2020. In 2020 Joe was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia all our nightmares come flooding back, however, this time he has to fight it again with a young family in tow. AGAIN, a new fight starts but with a different more aggressive form of cancer.

During his 1st admission he received a text being laid off whilst in a hospital bed, how tough is that to take…..laid off for not being at work enough because of hospital appointments! Alone, and worried how he was going to provide for his family.

Now Joe’s health is deteriorating, a new state of mind manifesting into bad mental health problems and struggling to understand where this will end up during treatment. All this, whilst worrying if any of the family was a match, none of the immediate family was a match….now it’s down to a random list on the NHS database.

With no match, the NHS sort out their list for a match, this was a battle from blood to bone marrow needed to get him better. Exhaustingly, mentally worrying all the while, how is he going to provide for his family. Unbelievable, the kindness of a 2-year-olds donor, and one other, Joe found a match to start his medical transformation. Painfully exhausting chemotherapy and Radiotherapy again, new blood, marrow and his body rejecting the host is an awfully painful and distressing process that he has to endure to build his body back up. His loss of body muscle, over 30 types of medication to take daily it’s still a long road. Joe Started his treatment during COVID-19, this become a huge factor in how he had to be away from EVERYONE and do this on his own with little virtual support.

Joe was always there for everyone, he helped anyone, and his life has been turned upside down, we are looking to help him and his family finish of some of the work at his house to make it a truly comfortable “home” for him, his wife and his daughter Lexi to enjoy now we are coming out of COVID-19 into the new world, its been harder for us all, however, its nice to be nice and your donations large or small make a difference to building up Joe’s mental health whilst he continues to concentrate on his second battle against cancer. Lexi has not been able to go to school (when open) since before Christmas and has had no contact with any children her own age due to the high risk of infecting Joe.

WE ALL Love Joe and his family very much, you would if you knew them. We are asking for kindness and for people to pay it forward towards this family in need. If you have been through this, YOU KNOW, if you have been fortunate enough not to have had such heart wrenching drama in your family, image how hard this would be and donate please.

If you can see your way to supporting a normal family and YOUR HELP will help us rebuild their life, it will be that good lifetime deed you have given, knowing YOU HELPED a stranger enjoy his young child (Lexi) grow up and live a normal life with his “FAMILY” – That is just being a truly decent human being. Thank you very much for you reading this and thank you very much if you choose to donate.
