Joe McLain's Recovery

First off, keep this on the down low. Joe doesn't know we're doing this for him. Even though if the roles were reversed he'd be doing this for us.

For those of you who don't know, Joe McLain, our super friendly, surfer god of a trainer, and salt of the earth friend, was in an accident this past weekend. His four-wheeler got away from him, threw him and then fell back on him. His L6 vertebrae was shattered.

Today is October 11, 2017, Joe had surgery this morning to remove bones fragments of his shattered vertebrae, install two rods in his lumbar region, and fuse and support the damaged vertebrae. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We are confident that his strength will carry him through, but also know how damaging the financial strains of time like this can be.

This GoFundMe is aimed at relieving some of the financial burdens that come with an extended recovery and an inability to return to work.  Joe has enough things to worry about right now, his finances should not be one of them.
