Many of our friends and family are not aware of the but On January 8, 2018 our worst fear was confirmed.  Joe was diagnosed with Kindey cancer.   He has 2 tumors on his left kidney.  One on the lower part and a very large tumor on the upper part.  the large tumor is over 11cm (larger than a tennis ball) and covers most of the upper kidney and adernal glande.  Finally  after seeing multiple doctors we were finally given a surgery date of March 5, 2018,  This surgery requires 3 surgeons and 1 doctor to be on call.  there are going to remove his Kidney, adernal glande, 1 lymph node and his spleen.  He will be in surgery for over 6 hours that day.  Then if all of that wasn't bad enough on February 16, 2018 he experienced a spontaneous hemmorage on his right adernal gland.  He was in the most excruciating pain he had ever felt.  He was in the the hospital for 3 days.   He hasn't been able to work due to the pain and pressure this tumor is causing on major organs.  the recovery time from the surgery will be lengthy and we wont know if he will have to go thru any other treatments for the cancer until after the surgery.  With the lost wages, traveling to Indianapolis for appts and the medical bills are starting to flow in we are swallowing our pride and reaching out.
