Thank you for visiting and contributing prayers, well wishes and financial support for our family. My name is Greg Duss, I am Joe’s only sibling and guardian for Daniel and Andrew. After the accident, in response to many people asking how they could help, Karen Holt established this GoFundMe page. She has asked me to co-sponsor and I am honored to contribute on behalf of Joe’s children and the rest of the Duss family.
As most of you know, Joe had a huge passion for surfing, fishing, fathering his 3 children and worshipping Jesus. Tragically, Joe’s family was hit by a drunk driver on December 9, 2003. His wife Krystal was killed, leaving Joe to raise the family as a single parent. The accident also left Joe with a level 5 brain injury. No longer able to manage his business, Joe had to let it go in 2004. He was granted disability and since that time, he had managed to support his family on very limited income.
All contributions are greatly appreciated and will go directly to accounts to fund Joe’s kids’ education, counseling, medical and activities etc…
