<div>There is a common expectation for men to “be strong” or “not show emotion” which carries a stigma around talking about their feelings. Additionally, men often have smaller emotional support networks which can lead to spiralisation of negative emotions.

<li>3/4 suicides are male.
</li>
<li>14 men per day commit suicide.
</li>
<li>1/8 men suffer from a mental health disorder - yet only 36% of those seek assistance.
</li>
</ul>
<div>Me and Alex have spent lots of time discussing the importance of men speaking out and we aim to further spread this word through the community.
</div>
<div>To do this, we will be running on Sunday the 19th April to raise funds and awareness for men’s mental health; specifically the charity <strong>MANUP?</strong>. The distance we run however is up to you. As previously mentioned, we will run 1km for every £10 donated. All funds go directly to the charity and it is an amazing job that they are doing for struggling men .
