JOE BROGNA'S MEDICAL FUND

On September 14th, 2017, Our life turned into tragedy when we found Joe in the morning unconscious a few days after Hurricane Irma. He had put in alot of hours in Miami cleaning up knocked down trees and debris. He wasn't feeling well that night complaining that his head was hurting and wasn't acting his normal happy self. We offered to take him to the hospital but he refused to leave his kids side and wanted to be around the family. He was found the next morning (September 14th) gasping for air, we immediately called 911, not knowing how long he was unconscious. He was transported to the hospital where he was put on ventilator due to lack of oxygen to the brain. He was sedated for 3 days to keep him calm and when they brought him out of sedation he was unresponsive. A week later, progress was made and he was taken off a ventilator and placed on a trach but still unresponsive. Joe is a fighter and continues to show us his strength everyday. The process is long but we are staying hopeful. 
Joe currently has full custody of his two children (8 and 13 years old) who ask about him everyday. 

The money we raise from this fund will go to his Medical Bills, Therapy sessions, His two beautiful children, and any extra expenses we may incur.
