<div>Dear friends, family, and compassionate community,

<div>Many of you know Joe—as a friend, colleague, coach, or maybe even a worthy opponent on the pickleball courts. He has always been someone who brought energy, heart, and determination to everything he did. A once avid pickleball player, Joe’s days now look very different as he bravely faces the toughest chapter yet in his health journey.
</div>
<div>Joe was diagnosed with glioblastoma (stage 4 brain cancer) in 2018. Since then, he has undergone multiple surgeries, treatments, and hospitalizations—each time showing an inspiring level of strength and resilience. He has already outlived expectations with incredible courage and quiet grace.
</div>

<div>This year has brought a series of difficult setbacks, including more surgeries and extended hospital stays. Joe and the family have made the thoughtful and emotional decision to begin hospice care. While hospice has been an incredible support, it does not cover the full extent of what is now required for daily care.
</div>

<div>Joe is currently wheelchair- and Hoyer lift–dependent. His devoted wife, Denelle, is his primary and constant caregiver—all while continuing to work full-time. While friends and loved ones have stepped in with remarkable generosity, the physical, emotional, and financial demands are steadily increasing.

<div>As Joe's extended family, we are reaching out with a heartfelt request.

<div>Additional caregiver support, so Joe can be safely cared for and Denelle can find moments of rest and relief.

<div>The monthly cost of a wheelchair ramp and essential medical equipment for Joe’s accessibility and comfort at home. (And everything that comes with this change).
