Jody Tilton Memorial

As you may already know, Jody Tilton passed away yesterday evening for what I understand to be kidney failure. Jody had overcome so many enormous obstacles and challenges in his life. He was always a fun-loving, living, breathing miracle of sorts and I made sure he knew it!!! He had a real sense of adventure and enthusiasm. Jody was a good man, but the burdens of this world wore him down, and it's a big loss for so many people.

Joe is donating Jody's body to science. Jody did not have any advanced directives, but we all know Jody was a big-hearted humanitarian and environmental philosopher in his own way. This gives him the opportunity to help someone else and potentially save another life!

We are in the early stages of planning a memorial. Brian Boe and I will take the lead on organizing it, but we know it will be in Denton OR Dallas, Texas. We have yet to set a date, time, or location but we will most certainly keep you informed as memorial plans solidify.

The funds raised will support the memorial and the ramainder will be provided to Jody's father, Joe Tilton, and his Jody's girlfreind, Leslie Leigh, to help them cover unexpected costs they will encounter during this difficult time.
