Hello everyone, This is to help my mom with some hard news she received about a month ago. My mom was having some weird pain in her lower abdomen and started noticing a lump. This later started causing other pain but since she didn't have insurance she pushed it off thinking it would just go away and she would be fine. (Her insurance was way to high for her to afford and the state was saying she made to much with her antique store and didn't qualify.) After about a month of this pain and the lump growing, she finally made an appointment to go in and be checked. (She was putting away money to go in and be seen by the doctor) At this appointment they said they needed more test ran and within a week she had CT and MRI done. The doctor said to expect a few days to get the results back, That doctor called her within a few hours and said "This doesn't look good" she started to say "she has a tumor the size of HER HEAD (10 3/4 inc. Long) and they think it could be cancer" at this point she set up an Emergent appointment to see a Caner doctor that following Monday (this was Friday Night that she got a call). That Monday she met with the doctor and said they were going to do labs to see what kind of cancer she could possibly have and set up a time to meet with a Cancer Surgeon and discuss removal at the U of M.  We meet with this Amazing lady at U of M  who answered everything we could think of and got a surgery set to remove the Tumor and all others she may find. ( this includes both ovaries that she still has from a partial hysterectomy 8 years ago). She did want a full CT done and a colonoscopy to rule out any other possible things that may be there but she is very hopeful that she will get everything on July 15, 2019. After the surgery she will be in the hospital for at minimum of 4 days (could be longer) and will have a LONG road of recovery ahead of her. 
She will be using all money raised to pay off any medical bills that is accumulated during this whole process (and there will be A LOT!!!) specially with all the test ran already they are starting to make there way to her door. 
We are so grateful for anything you can help out with and definitely reach out to mom if you would like. My mom may be stubborn but right now she really needs anything you can contribute for this, the surgery will be done no matter what but after we don't want her to loose everything.
