Jodi Litfin's 2021 LBDI Campaign

I am participating in the Junior League of Topeka’s Little Black Dress Initiative, a campaign to raise awareness about the challenges that face 1 in 6 residents in Topeka that live at or below the national poverty level. As an advocate, I will join many other women in wearing one black dress - the same black dress - for five days in a row to:

1. Raise awareness of community instability

2. Illustrate how limited resources affect daily life; and

3. Raise funds that will be utilized by the Junior League of Topeka to support change in our community to help combat community instability
