It is with heavy hearts we share the sad news that the love of Jodi's life, Rob Hogue, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 after sustaining a severe head injury due to a work accident. Early on we all knew that it was going to be a long road ahead, but thought that Rob would eventually pull through; however, after 10 days Rob died peacefully in Edmonton. With his passing Rob was able to give back one last time, as his heart and other organs were donated, saving and improving several lives. This has brought Jodi much peace amidst the turmoil that she is facing at this time.
Rob was Jodi's soul mate, and an amazing daddy to Micah and Ivree. They had so many great memories as a family, and had so many plans for the future. He and Jodi were also planning on getting married on August 8th, 2018. Micah and Ivree love "Daddy Rob" so much, and we know that Rob's spirit continues to be with Jodi and the girls, and is guiding them through this transition in their lives.
Rob's death is obviously devastating to Jodi and the girls, and it is going to be extremely hard for them in the coming months; not only emotionally, but also financially. For those who would like to donate, we have set up this GoFundMe page as a way to gather funds to support Jodi and the girls.
All funds will be used to help offset expenses which Jodi has and will incur, including travel and loss of work, as she makes memorial arrangements and grieves with her girls. As Jodi and Rob shared living expenses, your donations will also help her to cover costs over the next couple of months as she sorts out her living arrangements.
